We have incorporated both carved and painted accents to these beautiful Dayak mask designs, as well as an actual nose ring. The hand carving on these dudes is something to marvel.

The 'Dayaks' were a tribe of people indigenous to "Kalimantan", or Borneo.

Improved rope and natural goat skin really help give these beauties their low end sound along with the crisp rim tones that you can not get with synthetic heads. A lathe cut mahogany shell sets the stage for another great piece of equipment from Sageman's line-up.

Please note: Sageman drums are made by hand and will vary in color, rope style and carving from one to the next. Slight irregularities are common.
